Precast/Prestressed Girder groups commonly used data together in the form of libraries. The component libraries are used to store data that does not change often and is to be used repeatedly across projects. The four library types available in Precast/Prestressed Girder are Beam Sections, Prestressing Tendons, Rebar, and Live Loads, all of which store information as suggested by their titles.

The component libraries can be saved as corresponding individual files in the dialogs of the component libraries. Those saved component library files can be shared between different project files. Take Beam Section component library for example. Other component libraries work in a similar manner. You can customize the current Beam Section component library (say, containing 5 different I-girders and 20 different box beam sections), and save it as MyBeams.shlib. Then you may load the file MyBeams.shlib into the library of a different project file in order to share the contents of customized Beam Section component library.
